John Arthur Lithgow (Rochester, Nueva York, 19 de octubre de 1945) es un actor estadounidense. Estudió en la Universidad de Harvard y en la Academia de Música y Arte Dramático de Londres antes de hacerse conocido por su diverso trabajo en el escenario y la pantalla. Ha recibido numerosos galardones, incluidos seis premios Emmy, dos Globos de Oro y dos premios Tony, así como nominaciones a dos premios Óscar, un premio BAFTA y cuatro premios Grammy.
